SKRAPE- Austin, TX

I don't know if I can say that I have ever been to a show quite like this. From Twisted Method's comical antics, to Skrape's almost overly energetic set, and the topping off of the night with mind-numbing songs from the king of cool hair - Wayne Static, it was a pretty exciting night. But I must say that Skrape takes the cake. Everything satisfying about their CD seemed twice as prominent in their live show: unbelievable energy, great intros, a drummer I couldn't keep my eyes off of (stick twirls, greatly energized vocals, and not too bad on the eyes), and a really solid set. Believe it or not, at the end of the set, when the crowd started chanting Skrape I even joined in. I can honestly say that this band is going places and has a fan base that is going to scream till they get there.
