The name Jibe, to be in harmony or agree, seems to fit all four members of the band. Joe Grah (vocals), Corey Tatro (bass), Ben Jeffries (drums), and Toby Bittenbender (guitar) contribute equally during a performance. Following the band to several venues confirmed that consistency is a key factor that will contribute to Jibe's success. Joe Grah captured the crowd at Antone's with full-throttle energy by throwing himself into the crowd with utter abandon. Even at a more subdued venue such as The Laboratory in San Antonio, Joe hung from a pipe while continuing to maintain control of the performance. The Engine Room in Houston catered to a raucous audience, and had the stage been safe to jump from I'm sure we would have seen what a Jibe crowd has grown to expect. Each and every performance is pure energy. Female fans would be hard pressed to ignore the sensuous assault assailed upon them. If there is a weakness in Jibe's repertoire it might appear to rise from a male perspective. Pure romantics (as much as we tend to disagree) need a reality check. Romanticism should be tethered to create universal appeal, and other avenues investigated. Particularly impressive is the universal appeal found in the single "Yesterday's Gone." It allows each member to stand out individually. Joe's vocals are stretched to their limits providing the listener with an example of his range. Toby's guitar playing is hypnotic while Corey and Ben tie everything together with their exclusive control of the pace making the sound an integration of musical elements that ROCK! The cacophony of sound is totally and completely in sync. The ending equally adds an exclamation point of harmonious finality. As mentioned earlier, JIBE has a consistency of appeal that is hard to ignore - all they need is a breakthrough single.
