Dashboard Confessional
Artist Feature
The year's hottest new artist, Dashboard Confessional has been turning heads all summer. Well, 'So Long Sweet Summer' and hello brave new world.

With an unstopably growing fanbase coupled with talent beyond all others, Chris Carraba, backed by three amazing musicians, offers an emotionaly charged performance both on album, and on stage.
Every artist has an opportunity to put their talents in the spotlight at some point. Carraba has modestly placed his best in one of the most anticipated albums of 2001, "The Places You Have Come to Fear the most", and that effort has brought a completely new perspective on emo and on music as a whole.
Origionally the front man of Further Seems Forerver, Carraba began embarking on a solo career that would eventually lead to what is now Dashboard Confessional. Following his signing to Vagrant Records, Chris immediately started working on his debut release which began the spark that led to the explossion currently surrounding Dashboard.
Today, after 2 releases on Vagrant, Carraba has become one of the most sucessful "emo" artists ever to arise, leading to bigger and better things for accoustic music that is not afraid to have soul. Dashboard Confessional has opened a window and a door for that which is called music, and I think I like it.
