Skrape - Up the Dose

' Up the Dose ' is the first I have heard from Scrape, and while it didn't leave me gasping for breath I was undoubtedly impressed. They grabbed me first with the intros which, to put it plainly, were downright cool. Each song becomes complete with good dynamics, interesting rhythms, and lyrics that left me asking "What did he say?" As far as I can tell from this album, this is a well rounded band. They have a hard hitting guitarist, a drummer that refuses to drop the beat, and a variety in the vocals that kept my interest. All in all I'd say this CD is definitely worth giving a listen.
