John Mayer - Heavier Things
Album Review
By: Elizabeth Pardieu

The latest from John Mayer, Heavier Things , is a masterpiece of its own. The soft, smooth melodies far surpass my expectations of this album. A lot of things are different from any of his previous albums. For one, the songs are a lot less of the upbeat type, and more towards the artsy, mellowed out nature. The album also features a lot more variety in the music, it isn't one of those albums that you have to listen to a little at a time until you know it enough to like it. You can enjoy it from start to finish because Mayer definitely knows how to spice things up.

The lyrics of the album are deep and meaningful, and portray what I feel is an excellent message. The music is classy and timeless and I encourage everyone to go pick up a copy of this album, because you will be enjoying it for many years to come.
